To my loving wife, Ann.
I cherish our 62 years of marriage and I am so grateful for our time together. You were always the most caring and loving person that I have known. You were loving not only to our family, our children, but to all those you met. And in my lifetime I have never heard you raise your voice in anger to anyone. You would interact in a loving & caring way with others. I firmly believe that you are at peace with our Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven. Your family will always have heartwarming memories of you always.
I love you so very much, your husband Richard (Dick).

Richard Marsh, Debbie, Rodney, Glen and families, our hearts go out to you on the loss of a wonderful wife, Mom and Baba. Ann's warmth and smile easily drew us all to her. Her loving and kind legacy is clearly reflected in all of you - her precious family - and we are especially blessed to have Debbie as part of our family too. May Ann be rewarded with eternal peace in Heaven and may God grant you all the strength to cope at this difficult time.

Mrs. Marsh, although I just met you this past year, your family has informed me of all the heartwarming, loving, and invaluable memories they have of you. It paints such a beautiful picture of the remarkable woman you were, and it feels like I have known you for much longer. I will never forget our infamous Skip-Bo match when you, me, and Mrs. Pinto (Debbie) won against the Skip-Bo champions, Alana and Mr. Marsh (Richard)! What a fantastic feeling that was! You always knew the exact card to play, and you always had a smile on your face whether we were losing or in the lead.
You will truly be missed, Mrs. Marsh.
Love,
Spencer

Mr. Marsh, Debbie, Rodney, and Glen, please accept my deepest condolences. It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. When I heard of Mrs. Marsh’s (she will always be Mrs. Marsh to me I cannot bring myself to call her Ann) passing, it felt like I lost my second mother – because to all of us who grew up on Buckingham Drive, she was our “neighbourhood Mom.” As Mr. Rogers always said: “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping” and Mrs. Marsh was most definitely a helper. If your parents were at work and you needed an adult to help you, she was the one whose door you knocked on. I have such fond memories of playing in the Marsh’s back and for hours on end and of Mrs. Marsh giving us Kool-Aid or hot chocolate depending on the weather. She was always kind and always generous with her time – she always took the time to talk and listen and to provide advice or assistance. I will never forget her. I will always love you Mrs. Marsh.

Mom, your journey has been a challenging one to say the least. Many of us would have thrown-in the towel for hardships half as hard as what you have endured. You, on the other hand, overcame each challenge with perseverance, humility and a smile on your face that provided any concerned onlooker with solace. You are a pillar of strength to all those who were fortunate enough to meet you. And a light of hope for anyone who struggles in life.
Mom, it always amazed me that you could say a sentence and yet, communicate a book. You would endure an insult only to respond back with love. Moreover, you would stand in the shadows only to praise those that you knew, needed recognition. And when fate took your words and mobility, you spoke your needs through your sparkling eyes. Your quiet, friendly, and gentle disposition have endeared you to many. I have no doubt that you will be remembered by all whose life you have touched; even for the briefest of moments. Thank you for absolutely everything. Glen xxoo

We are doing our best to “be tough” mom - we miss you dearly, but find comfort knowing you are finally at peace with Christ our Saviour! Until the day I get to be in your arms again, I promise to do my best to follow your example of being a light to others. God bless you, my sweet mom, your YiYi forever xoxo
