It is with profound sadness and heartbreak of the unexpected passing at his residence on October 3, 2020, of Philip David Wong, age 58, of Grand Bend.  Loving husband of Cathy Wong (nee McPherson) for over 28 years.  Much loved son of Ken Sen Wong and Margaret Shuk Han Wong of London, Ontario.  Loving brother of Terry Wong and Karen (Chuck) Seguin and niece Kendra.  Deeply missed by his children Michael Van Haaren (Jean) and Paul Van Haaren (Tara).  Loving Grandpa (Goong Goong) to his grandchildren, Riley, Chloe, Sophie, Nicolas, and Emily.  Loved by brother in law Monty and Susan Fordham and family.  Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Philip was a proud member of the Ontario Provincial Police.  Philip served as a Constable in his community in Lambton County with dedication and compassion.  He will be missed by his Police family and his community.  Those who knew Philip will never forget his quick smile, his genuine care for others, and his gentle soul who would make time for anyone in need.  The family will hold a private service.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com   For flower information, please contact DENNING'S OF FOREST 519-786-2401.  Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST
