Obituary of Garry Rose
With great sadness we announce the passing of Garry Rose, after a valiant struggle with brain cancer, on March 15th, 2009 at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Deborah (Hughes), his sisters Madonna (Elridge) of Swift Current NL, Brenda (John) of Sudbury, Dianne (Jack) of Forest, Cindy (Lou) of White Court Alberta, brothers Craig of Mt. Forest, Bruce (Arlene), Bill (Holly), Todd (Natalie) & Shawn of Edmonton, and many nieces and nephews who brightened his life. Predeceased by his brother Mike Jr. and his parents Mike and Eileen Rose of Arnolds Cove Station NL. Garry was blessed with a multitude of devoted friends and family. He was a member of the Operative Plasterers Union for 30 years and worked in the fireproofing and plastering trade. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are asked to gather for a Celebration of His Life at 2pm at the Forest Legion on Saturday March 21st, 2009. Donations are asked to remember CCAC Bayshore Nursing, War Amp Champs.
