Obituary of Marguerite Bodaly

Mary Marguerite Bodaly (Thompson), age 88, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Meadow Park Nursing Home in London, Ontario. Born and raised in Warwick Township, she was predeceased by husband 'Jack', John Ernest Bodaly, December 2000, and her two brothers: Manfred Laverne Thompson, December 1981, and Raymond Telford Thompson, February 2008. She will be missed by niece, Janice Bartley (Thompson), and cousin, Lynda Arnold (Taylor). Family was important to Marguerite and she always enjoyed family reunions. Her Thompson nephews were David, Ronald, James, Larry, Leonard, Douglas and Laverne, and nieces, Barbara Hubbard and Sharon Gibbings. She is survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Marguerite was active in all aspects of education. She taught for 35 years beginning in Warwick and then for the Windsor Board of Education at Marlborough and John Campbell. Family services, followed by interment at the Watford Cemetery. Special thanks to the Meadow Park staff, especially Diane and Ruth.
