Obituary of Gertrude Leitch

LEITCH Peacefully, with her family by her side at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, May 21st, 2008, Gertrude Ellen Leitch (nee Purcell) in her 96th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Floyd (October 1999) and two sisters Catherine Dempcie and Misa McCann. Gertrude was the last surviving member of her family. Dearly loved and missed by her son Tom and his wife Karen of West Lorne and her daughter Eleanor and her husband Allan Marks of St. Thomas. Loving Gramma and Nana of Kim Penny (Perry) and their children Stacey and Stephen of West Lorne, Steven Leitch of Bothwell, Kelly Marks and her children Marcie (Tim) and Curtis Matthews of Windsor, Cheryl Ideson (Brad) and their children Brennan, Stephanie and Shannon of St. Thomas, Paul Marks (Laurie) and their daughter Abby of Brownstown, Michigan and James Marks of St. Thomas. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. where service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment McLean Cemetery.
