Obituary of Evon Elizabeth Pordan

PORDAN, Mrs. Evon

Peacefully, and surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.  Evon Pordan (Dunn) of Sarnia (formerly of Forest), passed away at the age of 74 years.  Evon was the eldest daughter of Jean (2001) and Gordon (2003) Dunn.  Evon will be dearly missed and forever loved by her husband Steve & daughter Veronica.  Also her siblings Bob (Mary Anne), Carol (Dave), Russell (Bernadette) Helen (2016)(Tom), Wayne (Charlene) Frances (2015)(Al), and Dolores (Dee)(Tim).  Evon was the cherished grandmother of Ryan, Ashley & Amy (Kelly) & Great grandmother of Jaxon & Blake.  Evon will also be forever remembered by her extended family and friends.  Evon loved to play bingo and enjoyed hooking rugs, doing puzzles, and most of all playing cards.  Evon had a long career working for Bell Canada in London and a long career with the People’s Telephone Company in Forest.  Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends are invited to Evon’s Celebration of Life at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Evon may donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.  Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com
