Obituary of George Larmond

Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 31st, 2008, George Robert Larmond of Forest in his 49th year. Survived and cherished by his loving wife Rev. Cathy Larmond and sons George, Joe and Davey, sister Liane (John) Hughes of England and predeceased by parents George (2006) and Marie (1997) and sister Elaine Hislop (1990). George will be sadly missed by many loving family and friends. Retired Reserve Naval Officer, Volunteer Fire Fighter, Legion member, member of the Masonic Lodge and proud employee of Forest IGA. Visitation will be held at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home (James st. at Watt st.) on Thursday, April 3rd 2008 from 7-9 PM and on Friday, April 4th from 1:30-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Forest United Church on Saturday April 5th at 11am with Rev. Deborah Elliot officiating. Cremation will follow with interment of Cremated Remains to take place at Beechwood Cemetery in Forest at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Forest United Church as requested by George would be greatly appreciated by the family.
