Thank you for all your thoughtful messages. It's now been 2.5 years since the passing of my mom and I still think of her daily. We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives. I will always think of my mother as being wise, thoughtful, intelligent, funny, a news junkie with a coffee in her hand. Sometimes I can still hear her laughter echo in my head. I know we will be reunited one day.

We never met but yet I knew you. You left this world far too soon but your memory lives on. You inspired great qualities in your daughters which will be passed on to your grand children. I know this, I know them, and clearly they are a reflection of you.
To your family, rejoice in the fact that all that was good in this woman lives on in you.
People will never remember what you said, they will never remember what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel :)

Mark and I just found out about Karen today. We are so sorry to hear this news, as we would have been there. I was at a loss for words. She was such a great , fun and out going lady. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom was one of my Mom's very best friends and I have many wonderful childhood memories of the time our families spent together.
