Obituary of Marilyn Faye McCann

On Sunday, September 4, 2016, Marilyn Faye McCann (nee Hicks) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia in her 76th year after courageously battling cancer for over 4 years. She is survived by her children Wayne & Sarah McCann (Sarnia), Brenda & Terry Harper (Warwick), Brad & Karen McCann (Warwick), and Greg & Nicci McCann (Forest). Survived by her grandchildren Sara Harper, Paula & Steve Dubuque; Aubrey, Emma, Jared, Ila, Noah, James, Meeghan, Chloe, Sydney, Hannah, and Jacob McCann. Also survived by her great grandchildren Toryn, Addalyn, Kalie, and one due shortly. She will be sadly missed by her sister Kathryn Fulton and family of Stratford. She will also be missed by her close friend Raymond. Predeceased by her parents Garnet (2000) and Olive (1997) Hicks of Exeter, her grandson Caleb McCann (1995), and her great grandson Holden Dubuque (2015). In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia would be greatly appreciated. Visitation will take place at DENNINGS OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Members of the Forest and Warwick Fire Departments are invited to attend at the Funeral Home at approximately 7:30 pm on Thursday evening. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Friday morning, September 9, 2016, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Warwick Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.denning.ca
