Hi (Cousin) Bob and family
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I can remember some fun days when I was little having tea and laughing together.
Only when I was little I was told to call her Auntie Elva even though she was an adult cousin it was proper to call her my Aunt.

Bob, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May God grant you His peace and grace.
Elva and I made many memories together in our growing up and teenage years during our days in high school, at local church services and activities, and in her home with our parents. Elva always had such a sweet smile and quiet disposition.
Sorry we can't be there to express our sympathy in person........we are currently at our winter home in Florida.

Of want for something to say I have borrowed the words of Abraham Lincoln...
I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to (have served with her alongside our God, the author and perfector of our faith, and the one in whom our lives are hidden.) brackets are mine, sort of.

Bob & family - our prayers are with you at this most difficult time of loss. It was a privilege to know Elva as a neighbor, friend and fellow pastor's wife here in Listowel, where she so faithfully served God, His people and this community. We shared, with honestly and transparency, many conversations over our backyard decks - usually while Elva was hanging wash (which she loved to do). Most importantly she loved Jesus, and her gentle, kind spirit radiated His love. She was a blessing to myself and many, no doubt. May God strengthen those she held dear. Keven & I hold you in our hearts & prayers. Sincerely, Nancy Rooney
