Obituary of Linda June Scott

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Linda Scott, at the age of 79, on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia.  Predeceased by her husband, Terry Scott, her partner, Lorne Ramsey, and her infant son, Jason Scott. Loving mother to Randy (Sara) Scott, and dear grandmother to Mavis and Jack Scott. Linda was predeceased by her brother Doug Watson and will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings Patti Doolittle (Bedford), Keith Watson (Sherry), and Sally James (Ron). She will also be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Linda was raised on a family farm on Aberarder Line, Ontario, and once married, she lived in Forest, Ontario. Linda had a long career starting as a sewer, and later a supervisor, at the Watford Slipper Factory (later called Tender Tootsies), until she retired. Linda was a dedicated member of the Christ Anglican Church, Forest. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings, taking family photos, and loved spending time with family and friends, whom she cherished.

A visitation will be held on Thursday December 12th, 2024, from 10am until the time of Service at 11am, at Denning’s of Forest, with an interment at Beechwood Cemetery, followed by a luncheon catered by Denning's back at the Forest Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to the Christ Anglican Church of Forest, or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Online condolences may be made at www.forestfuneralhome.com
