Obituary of Catherine Dianne Fraser

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Catherine Dianne Fraser (nee Dodds), passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on July 9, 2024 at Bluewater Health after suffering a stroke at the age of 74. Loving wife of Dan Berton Fraser for 47 Years. 

Cathy was the heart of our home and family. She raised two children, Erik (Paula) and Danny (Jen) in a happy and loving home. She raised her boys to be independent and thoughtful adults.

 Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Erik Jr, Jillian and Sam. 

Cathy is survived by her six siblings Orland (Kris), Karen (Rick), Ray (Late Anne), Susan (Jon), Dale and John (Tami). Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Cathy, a faithful believer will now be reunited with her parents Dorothy and Burt Dodds. 

Cathy was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and was always in attendance to her grandchildren’s activities. Cathy loved hosting and planning many family events. Cathy was known for wishing you well, whether it be a phone call, a card sent in the mail or just to let you know she was thinking of you by text. 

Cathy was the glue that held our family together. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A private family service will be held at DENNING’S OF FOREST. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
