I was shocked to learn of David's passing yesterday. Please accept my deepest condolences for you all. I have many fond memories of spending many hours together as children during our summer vacation. I couldn't wait for the Clark picnic to arrive because that's when the Butler kids arrived for the summer from Bramalea to spend time with Grandparents Stan & Pearl. As we grew older we went our separate ways. Those childhood memories will always be special for me. RIP David

Janet and family, Bill & I were so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Cancer certainly doesn’t discriminate, Bill has been undergoing treatments since July. Bill & I are thinking of you Janet.

Janet and family, we are away and I was so shocked to hear of Dave's passing. When I stopped by before we left he seemed so upbeat and positive. I'm happy we had that last conversation. Our walks will always remind me of our new friends we met thanks to Dave's friendly personallity and Annie.

My Deep condolences and love to you all. Janet this breaks my heart. I miss you both so much. I have too many good memories and stories of such a dear friend and right now i just want to keep them here in my heart. Since my husband's brain injury I lost so much time in life with people like Dave. One I will share is this. As many of you know David loved to tease people. As secretary at Dr Berneys I was constantly teased by him. However during the beginning of our nightmare here, I had to come home from London for a few hours. When I arrived Dave was here. He had a coffee for me and said sternly, lol, sit here I need to speak and you need to listen. I did alot of blaming of me for what happened to Steve and was not caring for me. Dave told me his thoughts and I don't think he ever knew how much I appreciated that from him. He added to my strength. Xoxo God Bless Cathy and Steve Lithgow
