Mom and me were out for a drive just 8 days ago. As we passed your mom and dads old home where you kids grew up mom asked about your mom and wondered where she was. Now they both passed. Good ladies from a past they shared together.

Hello dear cousins, and your families. We send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. Aunt Marguerite was such a fun, always quick to laugh, and a kind and generous soul. I have many, many lovely memories of her and your Dad from our visits to Forest and our time at the cottage. She would bring you out to the lake to visit with us each summer we were there. Marguerite was an important person to three generations of our family -- to my grandmother Mary Agnès Lamont Hoffman, to my mother Marjorie Pfaff and to my sister Barbara Holliday and to me. My mother was an only child and her cousins Margaret, Bill, Allan, and Barbara meant so much to her. Marguerite was lively, warm, friendly, generous, and affectionate. To all Marguerite’s family. Marguerite was one of the first patients I had when I started doing home care almost 20 years ago. She was so funny. One day the shower head came loose and there was water spraying everywhere. The walls were wet, the floor was wet and I was getting soaked. But we couldn’t get the thing shut down because both of us were laughing too hard. She told everyone who called that she tried to drown her PSW. It is a memory that still makes me laugh. Please accept my sympathy in the loss of such a lovely lady. Debbie Burr
