Unfortunately for us Aaron's stay at Hillcrest wasn't long and as such we didn't have the opportunity to get to know him as much as we had hoped.
However, on those occasions we did meet he presented himself as a very thoughtful, caring person with a dry wit that always made me laugh and I knew he'd be there if I ever needed a helping hand.
To Allan & Betty, Ann & Ed and the Reid family: Our most deepest sympathies. Agnes and I hope you find some measure of comfort in this difficult time.

Allan, Betty, Halle and Brent,
We are so sorry to hear about Aaron's passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We will always remember our journey of friendship with Aaron that started in our teenage years.
We have so many memories with Aaron as he was such a huge part of our family. He embraced the chaos of our household, was with us during the highs and lows, saw us at our best and our worst and none of it ever scared him away. HIs friendship remained true, open and honest and that is irreplaceable.
We will miss sitting and chatting, playing crib, and watching sports and silly TV shows with him. We will also really miss his hearty laugh!

Lance and I do not know how to say good-bye to you my friend. Wherever you are in the universe you should know that our hearts our heavy and the sadness is overwhelming. We will hold you close to our hearts and think of you often.

Aunt Betty, Uncle Allen and Halle
My heart, even thou I am miles away is broken to here of this loss. One of favourite memory was when I was old enough to go out on my own, I would get up just about every Saturday to ride my bike across town to our Grandparents house. Many times when I arrived she was in the middle of baking, usually cookies that where kept in tins cans in the cupboard for all of us to eat. I can clearly see the kitchen table covered in two or three different kinds……….when Aaron would come to visit his favourite where her chocolate chip ones, and my brother and I where not allowed to touch them. We would tease her every time she would make chocolate chip cookies after that. Aaron I hope the Grandma had a huge tin of them waiting for you upon your arrival, along with one of her warm hugs.
