Bart and Anna became an integral part of our family when my mother stayed with them 24 years ago when my father was in University Hospital. After my father’s death they remained friends and enjoyed many social gatherings together over the years. My mother had a chance to speak with Anna the day before she passed away and was happy to hear that she was feeling better. It was with heavy hearts that we learned of har passing and hope that her family can take solace in the freedom from suffering that she now has. It will be hard for them to lose such a strong , independent woman but her strengths will forever live on in their memories. We cherish our memories of Anna’s strength, wit, kindness and determination. She will be sorely missed.
