Obituary of June Joan Crozier
CROZIER, June Joan
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday,
February 19, 2021, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the
late Leigh Crozier (2005). Loving mother of Kerry Dunlop
(David), Cathy Keast (Gary), Bruce Crozier (Lisa), and Dr. Melanie Crozier (Kel Roundell). Grandmother of Dr. Bill Dunlop (Ritchie Brown), Daniele Yeo (Rob), Riley Keast, Bryan Crozier
(Stephanie Karuhanga), Laura Crozier, Violet Roundell, and Jett
Roundell. Great-grandmother of Aaron Yeo, Elliot Yeo, and
Ethan Yeo. Daughter of the late Wilfrid & Violet Gervais,
originally of Gogama, Ontario. Sister of Vivian Cosgrove (late
Terry) of Forest, Elaine Verdonk (late Tom) of Montreal, Ted
Gervais (Ann) of Nanaimo, and the late Bernadette Crawford
(late Bob), Jackie Murray (late Cy), Pete Gervais, and Harvey
Gervais. Sister in law of Lillian Robinson (late Orville Robinson), Thane Crozier
(Helen), the late Clair Crozier (late Audrey), the late Shirley
Couling (late Dick), and the late Dorothy Thrasher (late Cecil).
June will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews
in Forest, Georgetown, Vancouver, Toronto, Hamilton, and
British Columbia. And her many friends met through Leigh’s
legal practice and the Forest Rotary Club. June enjoyed gardening, entertaining friends and family, telling
and sharing stories about Northern Ontario and the old days,
decorating her house, celebrating holidays, and spending time
with her family. June was an avid movie enthusiast,
especially the classics starring Gregory Peck. June was proud of
her French and First Nations heritage.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful & caring staff of the
North Lambton Lodge and Dr. Buckton for the outstanding
personal care that they showed to our little “June Bug”.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Dunlop residence on
September 18, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, 5264 Hubbard line Plympton-Wyoming, Ontario N0N1J6. Guests are asked to please wear pink or purple if they can as these were Mom,s favourite colours. For those
