I was saddened to learn of the loss of Lorraine. We worked together for many years at City Hall in Sarnia. She was a very skilled Transit Manager - intelligent, thoughtful, and positive- always making a really worthwhile contribution in her calm, quiet way. These are the memories I'll keep of Lorraine. We are greatly saddened to hear about Lorraine George’s passing. Lorraine’s passing is a great loss to the entire community. Lorraine had been involved with several Grand Bend Area Chamber hosted community round-table meetings over the last few years in the interest of building community relationships. It was an honour to work with her on the local public transit initiative. An accomplished, intelligent, experienced professional with a subtle approach, the Chamber and Transit Committee were lucky to have Lorraine’s insight and contribution. A great and gentle lady.
