I never knew Raya had passed away I am fighting Cancer at Victoria Hospital the past 7 months I am a close friend of her son Dennis I remember Raya growing up as I love her cherry cheese cake and always reminded her of that great memory I am in Windsor Cancer Clinc now recovery from stem cell transplant I will be thinking of Dennis and his Brother and Rayas Sister too so sorry for you lost Dennis

Oh the golden high school days when Raya and Joan made the rest of the teenagers look “not nearly so cool,”. Along with their good looks were kind hearts and I always thought Ken and Terry were fortunate to have them as life partners. Then came the hockey days of Rick and Doug, before we moved west. Thanks for the memories and my deepest condolences to the family!

Raya was a high school friend and we worked at camp ipperwash together. Have not seen Raya for a few years but I remember her as a kind and loving person. Sending our love and prayers at this sad time. Sincere sympathy to the family Gary and Shirley clieff.(Prout)

To : Rick, Denny, and Family -- Raya was like family at MacPherson's , always a lot of good conversations, As a teenager growing up , as well as working with her at MacPherson's she always had words of wisdom and some great quotes. How very sorry I was to hear of Raya's passing. Doesn't seem that long ago that we met up in downtown Forest and had a visit. I first met Raya when I was one of Ken's PSWs. He was one of my very first homecare patients. We always had a visit when we met up after that. Inez, I know this loss will be so hard for you.
