Obituary of David Reid

Unexpected but peacefully at home on April 22nd, 2006. David RAY Reid of Watford in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Ruth (Woolgar) Reid. Dear mother of Paul & Michelle Reid of London and Cathy & Tom Faulds of London. Predeceased by his son Daniel Chester (1959). Adored Papa of Dwight & Clark Reid and Kelly & Jennifer Faulds all at home in London. Survived by his sisters Joyce & Donna. Also survived by many nephews and nieces as well as his trusted K-9 Sidekick, Webster. Predeceased by his brothers Glenn and Robert and his sister Shirley. Ray had a great passion and enthusiasm for many things in life; first and foremost, his family. He loved the outdoors, and shared this enjoyment with many, especially his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of the Watford area and was involved in numerous community activities. After co-owning (with Ruth), the Watford Home Hardware, the "Home Handyman" finally retired in the fall of 2005. Visitation on Monday April 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. at the Harper Funeral Home, Watford. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday April 25th at the Trinity Anglican Church in Watford at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Kendall Reimer officiating. Donations to the Watford Medical Centre would be appreciated by the family.
