Obituary of Sandy Caughy

Surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health, on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, Sandra "Sandy" Caughy (nee Moir) in her 82nd year, passed away peacefully and reunited with her daughter Michele.

Cherished mother of Paul (Deborah) Caughy, of Comox, B.C, the late Michele (November 17, 2016) (Bill) Dick of Chatham, ON, Parry "Shawn" (Kim) Caughy of Port Franks, ON, Patrick (Karen) Caughy of Lambton Shores and Cory (Angela) Caughy of Lambton Shores, ON. 

Loving Nana of Justin (Emily), Alissa, Ryan (Amy), Jasmine (Zaur), Connor (Kassidy), Alexis, Karli (Tyler), Hallie, and Sadie and Great-Nana of Amelya, Parker, Caspian, Colt, Casen, Carter, Cody and Thomas.

Dear sister of the late Michael (Darlene) Moir, the late Darryl McLean, Dennis (Helen) Moir and half sister of Marie Landry, Lilly Emerson, Deb Kuhn (Joe), Barb Durk (Steve), Hughie Moir. Sandy will be missed by her nieces and nephews, family and friends.  

Sandy enjoyed spending her days gardening and tending to her plants.  She had a very strong passion for shopping, love of antiques and enjoyed listening to country music.  

Cremation has taken place and a private Inurnment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON, will take place for immediate family only.  A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held on April 27, 2024 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at the Moose Lodge, 850 Richmond Street, Chatham ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
