Obituary of Laverne Williamson

Peacefully at Grey-Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Friday, April 24th, 2009 in his 91st year. Laverne Williamson of Exeter Villa. Laverne is predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Cox, 1993). Survived by children Diane Williamson of Mississauga, Noel (Marylynne) Williamson of Bengough, Saskatchewan, Wayne (Nancy) Williamson of Guelph and Linda Jean (George) Donnelly of Guelph. Laverne will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Ken (Verna) Williamson of Barrie, Carl (Marie) Williamson of Sarnia and sister Helen (Tiny) Crandon of Strathroy. Laverne retired from CP Rail after 37 years of service and was a proud Veteran of WWII. Visitation will be held from the Watford Chapel of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Sunday, April 26th, 2009 from 2-5pm with Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday, April 27th at 1pm with Rev.
