So very sad to hear about George's passing. There are few people in life who really touch your heart and become so special to you - and George is one of those people for me. He was always the first one that came through the door at church and he always had a laugh and a kind word (and usually candy in his pockets for the kids ... and a few adults too!). He loved his family and his farm and he seemed to know everyone - and everyone seemed to know him. I feel very blessed to have known George. He will be dearly missed. We would like to convey to you our sympathies a the passiing of your father, George. Always enjoyed visiting with George & Sharon, at picnics and events. I always thought George resembled my father, Harold. Of course they were related through the Clemens connection. Always loved George's smile and cheery personalilty. As a born-again believer, you have that blessed assurance that George is "absent from the body, present with the Lord." Just heard of the passing of George. He sounded like a wonderful Christian gentleman. I also was a Conservation officer in the Parry Sound district from 1969-1978. I never had the opportunity to meet George. I left the department in 1978 and my wife Nancy and I went to Costa Rica as Missionaries. Later we moved to Russia untill we had to leave in 2001. Since then I have been preaching in North America with trips to Central
America and Russia.
