Obituary of Donna DeSchutter

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Jean (Aitken) DeSchutter  in her 56th year. With family by her side, Donna passed away peacefully after a courageous fight.  Donna was loved beyond all measure by her husband, Marcel (2016) and her daughter, Melanie (Paul Morin).  Donna is also survived by her loving mother, Fran (Vandeschoot) Aitken.  She is also predeceased by her father, Douglas  Aitken (2016) and her parents in law, Joe and Margaret DeSchutter.  Donna will be missed and remembered with great love by her DeSchutter family: Ted, Gilbert (Bonnie), Carl (Carrie), Gloria (Garry) as well as many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  We would like to sincerely thank the doctors and nursing staff at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion at a very difficult time.  Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James St. South, Forest, on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 1:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 pm – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Denning's of Forest on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Christine O'Reilly officiating.  Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in Donna's memory are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program or the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of their choice.  Online condolences may be left at www. denning.ca.
