Obituary of Joyce Mallows

MALLOWS Peacefully, at North Lambton Lodge, Forest on Sunday morning, July 3rd, 2016. Joyce Mallows (nee Read) of Forest and formerly of Bracebridge at the age 92. Predeceased by her husband Roy (2008). Mother of Christine, Jennifer and Wayne and grandmother of Craig, Darren, Scott, Aaron and Stephen. Survived by her sister Beryl of England. Joyce was active in the land army in England throughout the course of World War II while her husband Roy served in the Royal British Navy. She loved people and was happiest when there was a crowd around to talk to. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life. Her last months at North Lambton Lodge were peaceful and the family is grateful for the care she received. A private family ceremony will be held. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING'S OF FOREST.
