Dear Christine, Jennifer and Wayne and Craig, Darren, Scott, Aaron and Stephen. Please accept my condolences from Bracebridge and Daphne's Women Group.
I have known your mom for over a decade, I used to visit her at home when your dad was there. We all loved your mother here, she was kindred spirit with me from England. She had a great sense of humour, kindness and generosity and she could tell a great story, I can hear her laugh right now ringing in my ears.I wrote and article on her being a Land Girl in England and we had such fun. I would sometimes pop in to her regular Thursday 'Happy Hour' with her friends and felt honoured to be accepted. Other days I would go there and your mom would be sitting rocking peacefully with her cat on her lap. I brought my sister Bernadette from Ireland to see her and they had a great bond.
I gave your mother and 80 and 90 birthday party at Daphne's and she and we loved every moment of it. She lived her life to her fullest. I know you are all proud of her.
We miss her and we were grateful that we had her in our lives.Please accept mine and my husbands personal condolences. All of you will be in my prayers. May your mother Rest In Peace. God Bless Maria Duncalf-Barber Educational Coordinator at Daphne's Drop In and friend of Joyce Mallows. xxxxx She will be missed by many.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Joyce. I knew her through Daphne's Drop-In Center in Bracebridge, On.
I enjoyed Joyce's sparkling personality and wonderful sense of humour. She enjoyed life and loved being around and participating in our group. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to her family and friends. Dale Hall

So very sorry for your loss. Your Mom & Dad were members of our community association in Fraserburg., taking part in many of our events. She even made him dress up in a clown suit, & never stopped laughing at him. Take care..

Your mom was a wonderful person inside and out. We go back a long way. coming to Canada n l957. She had a great personality and it was lovely to spend time with her. She was a wonderful person and had such an interesting life. She will be missed.

Practicing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Although she was blind and hadn't sat at a piano since she was a child she remembered some notes and enjoyed trying to find the tune. And she steadily got better.

Dear Christine,
You are so right when you say that your Mum had a long and full life. She was a lady in the true sense of the word.
I am so glad that I had the chance to see her while she was in Bracebridge ... we had such a delightful visit. Her eyes sparkled and we shared some laughs. A lovely memory of a lovely lady.
