Lois represented 'home'. Always welcoming, always greeting with a big hug and smile. My childhood memories with her were friendly, funny, loving moments with a sprinkling of helpful and practical advice. I will always remember her laugh. As an adult, Lois and Gerry became adopted in-laws through Betty and Brady. Keep smiling, keep laughing Lois.

Our deepest condolences. Bob and I would always see Gerry and Lois helping Ross Garnham with the back-breaking job of picking asparagus for the market. What a couple of workers - plus they seemed to be enjoying it... Blessings to Lois' family and friends on her loss. Sincerely, Bob and Eleanor Watson.

I haven't seen Lois since the late 1980s, when she was one of my clogging students. She "danced out" with us often doing demos across the county and was very enthusiastic. My condolences to her family and friends.
Here she is pictured (first row, 4th from left) when we did a demo at the Forest Legion.

My deepest condolences to Uncle Gerry and to Kevin, Betty and Brenda and your families. I always enjoyed visiting with all of you with my parents (Merle and Stan Moore) whenever we went to Forest when I was growing up. Although we saw Aunt Lois and Uncle Jerry at times throughout the years since, I'm very happy that I (with my brother/sister) was able to meet up for lunch with them along with our other aunts and uncles more recently. My favourite memories of Aunt Lois though are when I attended the Forest Fairs with my children. Aunt Lois was the only person who would brave the Ferris Wheel and haunted house with my daughter Teri when she was young. I hope that your treasured memories along with the caring thoughts of loved ones bring you comfort during this difficult time. Carol McNiff

Gerry and Family
Sending our deepest condolences on the passing of Lois. I had just gotten to know Lois since my mom (Mary Lou Moore) moved into the building. Mom spoke very fondly of Lois and Gerry and how they made her feel so welcomed into the building. I know my mom will certainly miss Lois's visits and their chats at the Saturday morning coffee group.
