Dearest Crystal, this candle is lit to remember how wonderful D'Arcy was...
I have treasured all the great times we had over the years as young teenagers spending weekends together filled with a little friendly competition of "boys against the girls" (Randy, D'Arcy and Derek) against (Debbie and Tracy) We played games in the living room or pool downstairs, and it didn't matter where we were, or what we were doing, but D'Arcy would just light up the room with his big beautiful smile, and infectious laugh that made all of us laugh.

Anne and I were saddened to hear of Darcy’s passing. I had known Darcy since he was 12. I remember fondly the time Jack and I went to Kitchener to pick him up from school when he was about 18 or 19. He was a good kid to visit with and I really enjoyed our reconnect in the last few years. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with you.

D'Arcy was the cutest little boy to sing, "All I want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth" at Ravenswood United Church back in the 70's. I remember feeling 'proud' of this little boy I babysat. His older brother, Randy, well, he was a rough and tumble kinda fella but D'Arcy, he was gentle, thoughtful, caring in all that he did. Watching, observing him with his little brother, well, I thought them so sweet to each other. When D'Arcy began his career, again, I was feeling a wee bit proud; he had an amazing heart energy that calmed people in a crisis. D'Arcy, I pray you have peace. I pray your family know they are loved and adored. My heart is with the family, the friends, the community as we all mourn the loss of this incredible man.

I am so saddened and in disbelief of D’Arcy’s passing. We worked together at Knechtel’s when we were teenagers. When we both worked in health care, we saw each other often at the hospital. After not seeing each other for a few years, we ran into each other several times this summer at the Golf Course. It was like the good ole times. We would reminisce about all the fun we had working together and all our antics. You will be truly missed Darc. Rest easy buddy. Deepest sympathy

We have had many memories and fun times with D'Arcy over the years. Some great Try a Sport weekends, that he and Connie hosted with lots of fun and Laughter. I remember the cute little boy who was the Bat Boy for my little brother's baseball team. A man who married one of my best friends and had 2 beautiful children. Much laughter, and tears over the years. My heart breaks for the family and I have no words that will help with the pain. Sending all of you our love, thoughts and prayers.
