Obituary of Paul Michael Batte

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Batte, born December 27, 1950. Paul lost his brave and heroic battle with cancer on April 8, 2019. Will be missed dearly by his best friend and partner of 22 years, Barb McCulloch. Predeceased by his parents Shirley (Tayles) and Jack Batte. Survived by his sisters Lori Batte of Ann Arbor and Lee Batte (Jude) of Windsor. Will be remembered fondly by Kim and Mike Hickson, Jeff, Mike and Niki Pearce, especially missed by Grace and Abbey, Isaac, Arthur, Ellie and Adam. 

Paul excelled in his chosen trade, was a master craftsman, and was revered in Southern Ontario. Paul loved the area of Lambton Shores which brought him closer to the Maitland River where he would practice his skill and love of fly-fishing.
 

Words cannot express our gratitude to LHIN (Local Health Integration Networks) for their dedication and devoted care given to Paul. A special thank you to Dr David Kim and his team from St Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia Lambton. We have no words to express our gratitude to the care provided to Paul by the VON team.
