Obituary of Ruth Aliane Nichol

Nichol, Mrs. Ruth (nee Vanderburg)

With her family by her side, passed away at North Lambton Lodge on Monday, June 12, 2017, in her 94th year.  Beloved wife of the late Finlay Wilkinson, and the late Frank Nichol.  Loving mother of Bernice McKellar (Bob), and Melvin Wilkinson (Joan), stepmother of Bruce (Pearl) Nichol, Jacque (Peter) Ridout, Myrna Pickering (Robert), and the late Janet Arnold. Stepmother in law of Bruce Arnold.  Ruth will also be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy & Earl Vanderburg, and her sister, Doris Tanton (late Mac), her brothers Edwin Vanderburg (late Pauline), and Jack Vanderburg.  Survived by her sister in law Florence Vanderburg.

 Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, Ontario, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Uttoxeter Cemetery.  For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the Uttoxeter Cemetery Board or to Forest United Church would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.denning.ca
