Obituary of Allen William Gilliard

Passed away at Bluewater Health Services in Sarnia on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Chrissy Leyten (Roger). Grandfather of Aidan and Campbell. Son of the late Ralph and Mabel (nee Davidson) Gilliard. Son in law of the late Berneice Irwin and the late Lorne Fenner. Brother of the late Donald Gilliard. Brother in law of Delores (Smith) Gilliard, Virginia Cates, Beverly Fenner Peters (late Jim Fenner), Judy and Wayne Sparling, Barbara and Jim Wright, Karen and Wayne Townson, and the late Kathy and Lonnie Passmore. Allen is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Forest United Church, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
